The Thug Boss poses as a Businessman trying to sell a strip of land in Ravinale.
Duvalier could get into a fight with him and his minions if he agrees to the "Businessman's" proposition. (Duvalier could fight the Thug Boss and three standard bandits.) The resulting battle may upset the Bartender.
Mind Blast (Range: 1, Damage: 5)
As the Hero is caught off guard, the enemy makes the first move, with one of the Bandits and the Thug Boss getting to him during their turn. The Boss is supported by three Bandits and if the Hero's health is not very high, it's best to use speed to your advantage and flee the battle, otherwise you can easily get cornered by the Boss and his minions. However, if the Hero's health is high, try avoiding the minons and don't waste your attacks on them: try backstabbing the Thug Boss as much as you can, and if he goes down then you win the battle.
"I couldn't help but notice that you seem a little, ah, more cultured than most of the scum who hang out around this place."
"I need to get out of town, but if you get the money soon enough, I should still be here..."
"We caught a rich one, boys!"
(if you have 5000 gold, and give him the money) "Oh, jackpot! This sucker was actually going to give us 5000 gold coins! Let's get out of here, boys. We can live rich off this one for a while..."
The situation Duvalier can get into is very similar to the one in TRPG2, where a Vagrant tries to trick the Hero out of his money and unless the Hero gets creative, can turn rather nasty if the Hero refuses to pay up.
