The Marid is a powerful clan in the southeastern part of the Ashwan Desert. Like the other desert clans, the Marid value their independence and view the Ravinale government with suspicion. After the Cult purged the Ravinale Guard of undesirable members, a bunch of unemployed soldiers became bandits who terrorize the Marid.
