Background[]
Alissa is a recent graduate of the Psy Academy where she learned advance counter-Scanning techniques such as False Consciousness. Although skilled in Scanning and counter-Scanning, she never quite got the hang of more offensive techniques such as Mind Blast and kinetic particle manipulation. Alissa is unmarried, yet she has little interest in dating. Her parents are poor, and have never visited her at the Academy.
Lacking connections to secure work elsewhere, Alissa took a job as a secretary in one of the Academy's Administrative Offices. She is poorly compensated and unhappy with her job.
Involvement[]
Alissa and her bureaucratic nonsense become an obstacle to Duvalier's ability to speak to Dean Anya. With the right skills and choices, Duvalier can offer Alissa a job in the People's Resistance of Ravinale, for the price of 800 gold. To do this, you must scan her and be able to bypass her defences. If Alissa joins the Resistance, then Rahel will have her train recruits in counter-Scanning at the Desert Headquarters.
If she accepts the job, the player can then speak with Dean Anya in order to get 500 soldiers for the Resistance' cause.
When offering her the job, make sure you have at least 800 gold on you, for she keeps refusing to accept if you try to pay her with a smaller amount.
