Fernatus is a student of Cygnus, and an acolyte of significant rank in the Cult.
Involvement[]
Fernatus confronts the Resistance at Fawaz Gorge as they attempt to meet up with the civilians they rescued from forced labor camps in Ravinale. Fernatus attempts to delay the Resistance until General D'Kah arrives with reinforcements.

Strategy[]
Because D'Kah is on the way, the player has a limited amount of time to defeat Fernatus--25 turns. Fernatus is resistant to Mental attacks, which means that units that do not rely on Mind Blast are most effective against him. Fernatus possesses Pyro Hail, which means that the player should avoid grouping units in a straight line around Fernatus whenever possible. One of the best ways to defeat him is simply to back him into a corner, then surround him on each side with a single physical attacker (e.g. Griffin and Arman).
